That would be immense if that could be performed prior to the Swansea game like that, total silence listening like a 'abide with me' before a cup final, then as the teams come out crowd the crowd start singing.
Won't happen though, they'll be playing rhianna at a thousand decibels

at my dads funeral after all the sermons they played a tape - god knows where it came from - of him singing bubbles. and the entire church applauded and his sister shouted "go on Bill".
That felt fucking great despite having to pout my dad to rest, but he's only 100 yards from the original Ironworks ground in east london cemetery.

As pleasant a rendition as this is (great for a remembrance service where it was recorded) it has little of the spontaneity and lyricism that of the outbreak of singing and swaying that use to happen in the Old Boleyn ground.
In the 1950's and 1960's "Bubbles" was not preordained at the start of every match. But broke out when things were going well - the Chicken Run the North Bank and the South Bank would move as one. Now that would bring a lump to my throat if that happened just one more time be for we leave.
I would hope to hear the Post horn Gallup one more time as well. Played as we run out. Played on a proper Post Horn and not the excuse of a hunting horn when they tried to reintroduce it a few years back.
